I am an experienced, well-qualified and committed freelance EFL teacher/teacher trainer/consultant/materials writer. I have written published learning materials, presented workshops at international conferences and had articles published in a wide range of journals. I have an MA (Distinction) in Professional Development for Language Education. |

Over 20 years of experience teaching a wide range of levels and types of adult groups, including general intensive English, business English, Cambridge Examination preparation classes, IELTS, ESOL and ESP courses.
CELTA tutor/course director since 1994 (over 20 courses), at Bell Norwich, Norwich Institute for Language Education and Holmes College, Melbourne, Australia.
Directed and taught on a variety of overseas teachers’ development courses, mainly at Bell International and Norwich Institute for Langauge Education. I am a NILE Associate Trainer.
Directed many closed group and one-to-one courses.
Founded, ran and taught in a small ESOL organisation in Norwich.

Included modules on Multimedia and New Technology in Language Teaching, Materials Development for Language Teaching and a Dissertation: “The Need for a Diverse and Integrated Approach to the Teaching of Spelling in Adult EFL”.
Special interest in interactive whiteboards and other new technologies in teaching.
